Revisions made to 2100 Brant St development to reduce units, add variety of housing, and more; open house July 17

National Homes has submitted revised plans and studies for the proposed redevelopment of 2100 Brant Street.  Major revisions to the application include:

  • Reduction to the number of total units from 233 to 212
  • Addition of variety of housing types (semi-detached units, bungalow style with loft units)
  • Addition of 0.31 hectare centrally located Park block to be conveyed to City
  • Increased setbacks from buildings to southerly property line
  • Relocation of servicing easement located in north east corner of property
  • Natural Heritage System block now includes a 10 m buffer on both sides
  • Reflects road widening and daylight triangles along Brant Street
  • Reflects potential snow storage area locations

No decisions about this proposal have been made yet.
