Take Action Burlington: Back to School Eco-Friendly Tips

As summer come to a close and students start to get ready for heading back to the classrooms, Take Action Burlington has put together a list of tips for making an environmentally friendly return to school.Take Action Burlington is a blog run by City of Burlington staff and residents that aims to inform our community about environmental initiatives happening in our city, and provide people with helpful articles about how to be more environmentally conscious in their lives as we all work towards reducing our carbon footprint.The list that Take Action Burlington has put together helps you address all aspects of getting ready for school. There are suggestions for shopping for back to school clothes, waste free lunches and even transportation to and from school. Did you know that Burlington Transit is free for those 12 and under and 65 and older? There are also deals for university and college students.
